PSHE relaxation strategies- Monday 9th December 2024

In their PSHE lesson, Swifts learned about the importance of breathing techniques to help stay calm and relaxed. They explored how mental wellbeing is just as important as physical health and how relaxation can positively affect the body. The class discussed simple self-care techniques, such as taking time to rest, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying hobbies and interests. They discovered that relaxation strategies, like deep breathing, can be used in different situations to manage stress and maintain a healthy mind. Swifts also recognised the best times and places to practice these techniques, such as during moments of worry or before going to bed, to help them feel settled.
