Today we said goodbye to the lovely Mrs Parsons, she has been a great asset to our early years and lunchtime teams and will be missed by adults and children alike.
We showed our love for her in assembly presenting her with flowers and a gift. This afternoon we said our goodbyes as a class by giving her a card and gift and by having some cake. We will all miss her so much.
We have tied her leaving into our learning about Poppy Day, even when we no longer see people we have happy memories of our times together and our memories can last forever. It’s good to remember people from our past. During forest school this week we saw our friends and grown-ups from Pirton Pre-School, who we also have happy memories of.
We hope Mrs Parsons loves her new setting and look forward to getting news about her from Mrs Cruise.
