On Monday we spent the day completing our DT unit on healthy food. In the morning we looked at a range of packaging and discussed what made them effective for the products they contained. In the afternoon we made four different snacks; hummus and carrots sticks, fruit kebabs, fruity popcorn and vegetable crisps. We enjoyed learning a variety of processes, such as chopping, grating, slicing and blending. The best part was the testing (eating) at the end.
