Swifts began their maths unit on shape with enthusiasm and a strong sense of teamwork. They collaborated effectively to sort shape names and pictures into 2D and 3D categories, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They used their reasoning skills to talk about the properties of each shape, discussing the number of sides, vertices and faces of the shapes. The children showed great perseverance and focus as they deepened their understanding, sharing ideas and supporting each other throughout the task.
