In our Art lessons this half term we have looked at how mosaics have been used in art throughout history. We looked in detail at Roman mosaics and the repeated, simple designs of the borders. We started by using foil squares to practice using tesserae techniques. We planned our tiles on paper before using stone tiles to make our final designs which you can see in the image above.
