Remembrance Day, Diwali and Balancing

Today we learnt about why we have been giving money for poppies in school. We thought about how it is a sad time, not a happy celebration, but also a time when we have the chance to show kindness and respect. We took part in an assembly where we held a minutes silence.

We have also been learning about Diwali this week, which is a joyful celebration. In forest school we made amazing rangoli patterns on the playground. We will continue learning about Diwali next week and wish any members of our community that are celebrating Diwali a wonderful time.

In PE this week we did the last lesson on the unit Agility, Space and Movements. We had great fun balancing bean bags and we reflected on our learning over the last six lessons. We thought about the new skills we had learnt and the challenges we overcame. Changing is still quite a challenge but we are getting more independent!
