Last week we started our new Science topic, States of Matter. We looked at a range of materials and discussed the properties that make each one a solid, liquid or gas. We also investigated some unusual materials including hot chocolate powder, sugar, hand sanitiser and shaving foam. We learnt that some materials have properties of more than one state of matter. The children had lots of questions and we are looking forward to investigating these in more detail over the rest of this half term.
