Owls have made a really positive start to their final year at Pirton School and have already shown progress in English, creating some beautiful writing in response to the text Wisp – A Story of Hope by Zana Fraillon. They are half way through their class reader, Kensuke’s Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo and are all wondering how on earth Michael is going to find his way home! It’s great to see lots of children discovering and enjoying new books. Poppy is enjoying Skellig by David Almond and Charlie and Nevaeh are enjoying Wonder by R.J.Palacio.
