As part of our still-life project in art lessons this half-term, the children have been focusing on improving their sketching skills. Using famous still-life paintings as their inspiration, they have carefully observed the shapes, shadows, and intricate details in each piece. They’ve worked hard to break down complex forms into basic shapes, enhancing their hand-eye coordination and experimenting with shading techniques. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and the progress they’ve made in their artwork.
