We have won the attendance certificate for three weeks in a row! This is based on attendance and punctuality so thank you to all the carers that are ensuring that Wrens are in school and on time. We are so proud of our certificates, please look at them with us, they are on our classroom door.
This week we began thinking about winter so the snow and frost were perfectly timed. We wrapped up warm and continued to play and learn outside so we could experience the signs of the changing season. We have learned about animals that hibernate and migrate, please use these words with us so we don’t forget them.
In Drawing Club we loved the story The Gingerbread Man, ask us to re-tell it for you. We made playdough gingerbread men but perhaps you could help us make some real gingerbread biscuits at home! Don’t forget to let us help with the measuring and to let responsibly use tools so that we are safe.
If baking isn’t your thing you could help to re-enforce our maths learning and subitising skills by playing cards, dominoes or games that use dice with us. Have fun!
